In January 2005 the school expanded to
become a Scandinavian Education Center, offering full-time and part time
daycare and preschool for children 9 months to five years old, language
classes for children K-12 as well as for adults. The Scandinavian School is seeking fully qualified preschool teachers for the infant and preschool programs. The school follows a Scandinavian play based curriculum and is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy. The school offers a language immersion program where only Danish, Norwegian and Swedish are spoken in the classrooms. The preschool children ages range from 2-5.9 and the infant classroom ages are from 9 months.
